Must See Movie | Confucius 孔子


Confucius starring Chow Yun-fat and Zhou Xun and directed by Hu Mei.

It was released in Asia last January 18, 2010, in Guangzhou, China. The 22 million yuan (US $3,222,121.43) government-backed movie was created to celebrate the Chinese sage's 2,560th anniversary. credit: gma.tv

It is a glimpse to the sage's way of thinking and a glimpse of how the society he lived in was.

Zi gong (a disciple of Confucius) asked: "Is there any one word that could guide a person throughout life?"
The Master replied: "How about 'shu' [reciprocity]: never impose on others what you would not choose for yourself?"
